Great demo This is a five star demo. Motion is fluid smooth and you move very fast unlike most vr game apps which can't even handle slow movement without introducing artifacts. I'd like to see big guns and melee weapons. Add sounds, rats, bats, more details and machinery. Maybe mini games for power ups. Ability to jump. Health packs, ammo, A MAP!!!! Radar, vehicles for mini missions. C4, spawn points so you don't have to restart the whole level. VIBRATION. multi player option?? Can't think of nothing else.
Amazing VR One of the very best examples of VR around, have never spent so much time just walking around & admiring level design before! It's just a shame it doesn't completely go into fullscreen mode (LG G4) The home buttons bar remains in place, meaning the left/right eye divide line isn't quite central (this completely autohides on other VR apps)
Wow! Awesome demo! This is a fab demo of what's possible with Google Cardboard, Dive, etc. Looking at the men with guns, it was amazing. They look fab. I used it with my S5 and PS3 controller. I must admit I felt quite sick after a few minutes walking around, but I reckon that would get less over time.
Very good! Very immersive, and nice to be able to walk around and get used to things. I did have trouble quitting it afterwards and it could do with going into full screen mode for those phones that don't use hardware buttons as the screen split is not in the right place unless the soft buttons are removed.
Works good Please add barrel distortion. I have no bluetooth controllers but using "WiFi keyboard" android app I was able to move around. Recommend to add it to your app description. Only problem that keyboard do strafe not rotation, therefore navigation in some directions is bad. As well as jump button is needed.
Cool example of what VR can do I think this app is a good example of what VR can do.I didn't get any sound, don't know if it was an issue or just not in the app. Also, everything was a little distorted because it didn't show properly for Cardboard. Are there settings for that? I didn't see any settings. Otherwise very great app.
The best VR App I've found yet This is, in my opinion, THE must have demo for Durovis Dive. It has the best graphics AS WELL as the higest framerate of all demos I've tried. I want to give 5 stars here, but there is one thing lacking, something that's lacking in all Dive demos. There is no barrel distortion, and as a result everything simply distorts and looks strange when you turn your head (this becomes that much more visible because the framerate is so smooth). Please, PLEASE, add an option to enable barrel distortion.
Sick!! This app is really cool. I also used the lazy eye method (hint: think of it as a magic eye picture) with my moga controller and walked around the world. Really cool concept can't wait till I'm writing scrips and can jump on board with stuff like this.
HOLY WOW BATMAN This is by the best VR experience on android to date. The fluidity of the gameplay blew me away. I know you only walk around, but this is just a demo of the amazing things to come in the world of VR. Nothing compares to this right now. ((Google cardboard user))
Would love a full VR game with this engine. This engine allows for great graphics and smooth, fluid animation, which helps greatly to reduce motion sickness you can sometimes get with VR. The stereo 3D is excellent and environments feel large and have a realistic depth to them.
Best demo of Vr. This sample is a great show case for the dive or any VR headset. There is this feeling of real presence when you go very close to an animated model and look it directly in the face. If you don't own a dive headset, just search for opendive on google and learn about this fascinating development in mobile gaming.
Really great work There is a future in this technology for sure. I made head mounted vr unit with galaxy S3 and original box for S3 and some old lenses. Basically oculis rift for Android.
Proof of Concept Was looking for a game that supports Bluetooth controller with cardboard. This works with currently one control: walk forward. Two things this needs immediately. 1. Ability to import cardboard profile. 2. Option to control character direction via right stick.
Help please!!! This is really awesome looking but for some reason everytime I turn my head right I look left. Must be something wrong in my settings . Using Samsung Galaxy 2 ....
Wouldn't work Doesn't move at all on my LG V10 all I can do is look around but not actually move, bummed cause it looks really good graphic wise
Impressed. I think the concept is fantastic, and having a way to mount this in a proper position would certainly open up a plethora of new mobile gaming possibilities. I think the field of vision could be a little better though.
Great demo A++++ read more... The Unity engine is simply a great engine. Using with google cardboard and depth perception is amazing, flag above reacts to wind. Demo is limited to walking around though (no shooting). This is still not a consumer product and I can honestly say it's incredible that a Nexus 5 can reproduce these High Fidelity textures and give that level of immersion. This needs to be seen by more Developers. Thanks for reading.
Cant walk Looks like a really cool game but wont respond to my controller. So i cant move forward. Which means i cant play the game. Fix this & i will give 5 stars.
Great proof of concept Absolutely amazing. Best VR experience on cardboard. Only thing that is missing is something to do other than just look around. Lol! Really though, very impressive.
Another promise of VR This is a true 3D VR immersive demo experience. Excellent graphics and very smooth motion. The combo of a joystick and head tracking is very interesting. It will be worth bucks when made into a full game. I'm ready to pay! My fun discovery was the "peek around the corner" feature. Just tilt your head and your POV shifts a bit. Way cool. Worked great with Moto X and a Moga Pocket Controller (aka Moga Mobile) using the Moga Universal Diver.
Not horizontal and y drift I have to tilt my head to the right about 25d to get it horizontal in vr. Plus drift about the y axis.
Shame this doesn't apply the pre distortions to make it work with different viewers. Push to walk would also be good, as not many people have joysticks
This game never look better!! OMG..fantastic veiw of Shadowgun in VR!! I cant wait for a playable game ...keep up the amazing work guys.thank you for this glimpse into the future!!
Two things I don't like I would say its an amazing concept, but you ripped off the oculus rift. And I don't have these goggles, nor want to buy them. Three ☆s because I'm in a good mood.
Loved it. Great example This is great with bluetooth gamepad. Really smooth whilst looking around and walking at same time. Cant wait for it to be turned into a real shooter game. I had no sound though. Great. Keep up the good work
Useless vr 'app' You dont control the player basically it starts and does nothing
Very Jimpy & Glitchy I have a Nexus 6. The Hardware should be more than capable to make it run smooth. But it hesitates & skips all the time.
HAHAHA Hold my note 3 and make finger goggles and crossed my eyes and looked around and it worked. Very out of focus but 3d!!!!!!! Hahaha k now on to the 3d porn I would like to look down and see things. ;)
Great visual experience. A harbinger of things to come for VR Gaming. Excellent visuals, controls, and minimal drift. But you just walk around looking at things. Nonetheless, a stunning example of things to come.
Amazing graphics Looking for a full game like this for my vr headset don't mind paying for it.. please make more of this game looks so cool!!
Looks Great! I only have one problem: I can't move or look around (Even with OpenDiveControl) Please help!
Great Had no glasses and I did the most awkward thing ever but it was wonderful. I had my google Nexus 5 very close to my eyes with the light in my room switched off. This is the best VR ever.
For guys who don't know how to use U need to get a bluetooth controller just like the one that comes with the lefant vr headset it works pretty well
I want to shoot things! Aww, I see that the petition is closed. Might do well to update that. Love the demo, please keep developing this.
Great Only reason it isn't 5 is because there is no gun or ways you can fight, and the ai isn't developed. But that's not the point of this app. The app is to show someone the possibilities it vr. Well done. So exited for everything to come, hope to be a part of it. Nexus 5, homemade ve head set user.
Wont work All i can do is walk around and look at other soldiers walking on the spot.no controls work.i cant find a menu , uninstalled then reinstalled but was the same.
Great technical demo. If this is what we can look forward too, bring it on! Can't wait to start fragging bad dudes!
Awesome I love this app, it's really cool. Though I wish I had a bluetooth controller so I could explore the place. I did the cross eye techique to view the 3D. It's nice.. I wish my phone screen was bigger.
Cross-Eyed I love it! I don't have any VR things. But i can make it into 3D by doing cross-eye!
Won't work I tap on it and it loads, but then it exits out and says that it has stopped, plz fix
This app is for phones using Opendive VR Googles and it needs a gyroscope and bluetooth controller. This is sample level from a “Shadowgun” game (courtesy of Madfinger games). I made this simple demo to showcase VR Capabilities on the “Unity” engine using “Opendive”
