MCF Return to Ravenhearst Full for PC

Classic PC game, nicely ported I've been playing Mystery Case Files since the beginning. I loved this game on PC, and this is a near perfect port onto the mobile platform. The puzzles require some thinking, and the hidden objects require a keen eye. My only criticism is whenever I zoom in and scroll around to find the hidden objects in the "I spy" areas, I sometimes pick up items when I never truly found them. Helpful!... but ruins some of the challenge. Great game! Big fan!

Great game! Great game and really long so you won't get bored with it. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there were no direction with any of the puzzels. You had to figure out what to do or get a walkthrough. Some directions would have been nice. Other than that it is definitely what you pay for it.

Wonderful game I am nearing the end of it, and so far I must say it has been an excellent game. I have enjoyed playing immensely. Could only give 4 stars due to game needing an actual hint button rather than clicking an inventory item and dragging to hint button where you get a glimpse of an area you are to use the item in. Wasn't a true point in the direction you need to go, hint button. My only gripe really, overall, great game big fish!

Meh... Pretty pathetic. Lacks a map, which makes all the back & forth tedious. HOGs very repetitive & difficult to see, even when zoomed. Many objects had to be tapped repeatedly to obtain. Some, I hit the hint button only to discover it's the very same item I've been tapping. Some puzzles made no sense, plus there are no instructions on how the puzzle should be played, requiring either annoying guesswork or skipping. Hint button useless. Not worth the money.

Very hard very long, not much help. But then, when you do succeed, more gratifying. Last hidden object in victor's cottage shed: the cats eyes didn't respond for ages. However to give a game of this complexity any less than 5 would be mean!

Keys Love this game! I've been playing ravenhearst since the first one came out years ago! But there's one problem I would like to have addressed: the last door needs typewriter keys, and I know/have opened the door before with "his name", but I'm stuck because I cannot get the "r" key to open it. Please help or fix!!

Plenty of Puzzles I looked fo.rward to nudging this HO game along, sometimes rather slowly, but always trusting in my abilities, and in the quality of the game to hold my attention and to make sense. It was almost a disappointment to reach the ending. I played on a Galaxy tablet which made a good platform. I liked how I could zoom in to look for hidden objects. Reminds of the oriiginal Ravenhearst game, with some quirky twists.

Well, I don't really understand the ratings it's getting... I've downloaded a number of the big fish games and I loved them all until I reached this one. The effects are alright. Whenever the hidden objects search comes up, I accidentally keep finding the objects before I even know what I'm looking for. The puzzles are very vague and I'm quite clueless when it comes to them. I'm also not very fond of the detective's attitude.

Mediocre object scenes, poor mobile interface This game isn't very well-designed for tablets, but its main problem is the hidden object parts themselves. The "objects" are very often just shapes or outlines stuck into the image anywhere they could fit them, which makes the searching tedious and unintuitive. Better games of this type incorporate objects into the scene much more naturally. Later in the game, I resorted to tapping everywhere because those parts just weren't fun.

Crashes system-update As promised, updating rating after reinstall. Was able to play through. Series needs the first edition, though, as this one thrusts you into the middle, somewhat. However, there's still the issues of no walkthrough, unhelpful "hints" regarding items, and seemingly random connections to solve puzzles.

Ravenhurst Brilliant game , music and graphics spot on , interesting storyline. The graphics are just a little Blurry when you zoom in full but does not ruin gameplay. I really like the MCF series it would be great if you release some of the others. Great job.... Thanks Big Fish you have made my Sunday evening a little more interesting......Played on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 running Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Extra: 11/02 Installed this onto my Samsung P6800 and it plays fine and the graphics look super on the P6800 7.7 super amoled plus screen running ICS 4.0.4 Recommend to any one who likes good mystery hogs.

Would be good game if.... Liked story and graphics but too glichy. The game constantly wouldn't allow me to use the proper tools or itms to do things. Finally I went to a walkthrough to make sure I was trying to using the right item and sure enough I was. After so much of this I became so irritated with it that I quit playing.

KFC Return to Ravenhurst Dreadful! No option to get a hint for a mihi game, and some of these are so ludicrously stupid that you wouldn't be able to guess them if you had a thousand years to do so! DON'T waste your money or effort on this, it's SO not worth it!!!!

Return to Reavenhearst Would give it a five star if I could play part 2 and 3 to complete the game, can not find part 2 or 3 on Google play store. Very disappointed about this. Wasted my money for this game. Would like to finished the whole game.

Frozen Solved puzzle in elevator then it just froze. Can't do anything! Can't leave elevator can't open door can't move after days of work I'm now just stuck! Very annoying. I expect better from big fish.

MCF Return to Ravenhearst Love love love this game. I wish they would make many more of this kind!! I'm at 31 minutes (accumulated) and I cant go any further also I just realized that the timer clock stopped ticking away. Does this mean that I have to buy more of the game so that I can finish my investigation to the very end? It says in the name of the game "full" I'm assuming not, but I just cannot go any further in the game...very frustrating!!!

Im totally stumped! The clues for puzzles are vauge or nonexistent. I can go no futher than Rose's beauty shop. My items bag has stuff in it but not what I need to advance the game. I play a lot of these games and have not had tnis problem from Big Fish. So I go look for a walkthrough and it was there last night on the Big Fish website and 24 hrs later the walkthrough for this game is gone! What's up Big Fish?

Program issue Dont know why but my xperia wont play this game, it will load but the moment it get to the title screen it will slowly brighten until the screen is completely white. Had it 3 days havent managed to play it yet.

Picture and sound distorted! I was so looking foward to playing this game,as had completed the mirror game. I paid £1.32 for this game and it does not run at all!! The sound and the pictures are distorted. Large white blocks appear on the screen,so you can not even play or see the game,not very happy at all!!! I definatly would not recomend.!!

Not that impressed No map, not much on hints, but it seemed like a good game. I got all the way past the elevator. I think Im in a mine now. There's nothing else to do since the hint only gives a tiny pic of where I am to use my items. There are only 2 items I can use because it wont show me hints for other items. Help! Im stuck!

Had to go down to a 1. Reinstalled a couple months later. Still freezing. Have closed/opened umpteen times. Played many BF games yrs ago on pc. Used to be very good. What happened? Notice a lot of comments about the same thing but no reply or fixes by BF. Will quit buying.

Ravenhurst 2 Too much hidden object, little story, too dark, boring. Maybe it will get better. Might be too soon to ask for rating. No hints unless you are desperate? This game just kept getting worse! Hints are useless. It won't give you enough information to figure out what to do. You should pay me for wasting my time.

Loved on PC and now on tablet as well This game is amazing. Expierenced zero problems while running. I dont know why everyone is complaining about the difficulty. If you have a brain at all you should do just fine while playing. No one likes a game that you can beat in an hour.

Awful game First time I've ever experienced any problems with a big fish game or any other hidden object game and I've played a lot. It constantly freezes doesn't save progress and quently doesn't load at all. On the few occasions I have managed any game play the hint button is hopeless and the graphics aren't good.

Love it This game has so many challenges besides the hidden objects portion. The graphics and sound effects are amazing. I haven't solved the puzzle yet but I will. What I have played has been worth the money I spent.

Pretty good. This game is atmospheric. I got it because it's October and I was looking forward to Halloween. Game play is slow, and if you hate staring at the screen looking for an object hidden in the picture (sometimes in a way that seems a bit unfair) then don't get it. The graphics are good. The puzzles are plenty, if sometimes confusing. Fun.

Game not that great Graphs are great but can't go any further in the game the hint button really ducks. It needs a guide or a map to help out I tried uninstalling and reinstalling still the same won't work. I want them to fix it or refund my money.

Pretty difficult I dont think anyone could complete this game without a walkthrough guide. The hint button wont give hints regarding where to go next, its designed to only give hints regarding an item's usage if you drag the item over to the hint button. However i could not get this to work even one time. Odd that i received typewriter keyes from hos's after i already passed the typewriter door game. Also the character is overly snarky if you try to use the wrong item.

Was all going fine until I got stuck with the marble puzzle. I have all four marbles but it won't accept the final one... Looks like I'll have to waste time restarting the game to find out if I can get past it next time round. I don't expect bugs like this to happen in games I pay for

Ravenhurst Keeps crashing hint telling me to do things ive already done. Its so frustrating I do not know what to do now. Tried everything I can see and nothing. B

This game sticks at points and I can't proceed. I enjoy this game very much. However, it sticks at some points. Lately it has prevented me from completing the game and I have no choice but to start from the beginning. Very frustrating. Oh well.

NOT FOR ANDROID! Looks to be a great game for iPhones. However, it's not really clear that it's not for Androids so when I purchased the app, I was disappointed to find this out. Big Fish should make this clear during purchase.

A mixed bag, but worthwhile for a younger crowd. I think the best rating for this game would be a 3.5. I love a good puzzle game with a story, and Ravenhurst has a bit of both. In fact, "a bit" fits everything about this game. Its imagery is a bit creepy, its story a bit interesting, its graphics a bit pretty but also a bit dated, and the gameplay is a bit frustrating while the engine is a bit buggy. (Tapping in the right place at the right time can actually bypass entire puzzle doors, and not all the cutscenes played for me.) It was enough for me to play to the end, but none of the puzzles really pose any significant challenge, and with the only penalty for the "skip puzzle" button being that your total play time increases, there's not much left except finding hidden objects within scenes that pixelate as soon as you zoom into them. All that said, it works as a time-waster on an airplane, and as long as your kids are OK with mildly creepy imagery, the puzzles will keep them busy for a while. Considering some of the other story-based puzzles available on Android, this one has clearly had some effort put into it, and I applaud Big Fish for that. It was also nice seeing live-action in a game again. It brings back fond memories.

Normally I love Big Fish Games... but not this one You can't enlarge a lot of parts so you can't see the clues properly & the hint feature sucks... very disappointed, the story line is fun though...

Nice!! One of the better ones after Voodoo Whisperer. I didn't give five stars bcoz the hint system (that typewriter thing) was not very helpful; and wrongful use of inventory was rewarded with sarcastic insult (in fact, you got that even if you used the item correctly). Whoever wrote those script is a bully. Would be nice to have a Guide and Map like Enigmatis. Overall it's still a decent game.

I love this game! All though I'm stuck at the part with the oven pattern its a great game to use ur mind .Its not short so worth the money and your not just finding hidden objects there's is so much more to it then ,which I LOVE .I wish there were apps for the other ravenhurst games.If you want a mystery, brain teasing,long game you will love this one .Recommended for sure.

Blech! Crashes a lot, no map, hint button is useless. You'll go back and forth aimlessly - wondering what to do. Have a walkthrough nearby or you'll end up pulling your hair out.

Major bug prevents enjoyment Crashes every other hidden object scene, could be so fun if it were functional. I am on a note 4 so my processor is quite impressive however even still it crashes.
