Great but one feature is mandatory One feature that is critical to include is the ability to have ALREADY selected cells. Like in Conway's Game of Life, this implementation should include the ability to select cells and change their colour. I would suggest that since a user can add more than two rules, a system where the user taps on a cell and it will change colour in a cycle. Maybe the same order in the cycle as the order of the rules on the rules page? This would be extremely helpful and appreciated. Thank you.
Continuity The size and speed sliders should both be linear and accessible from the view screen. Feature request: save patterns, upload and share them. Etc..
Awesome This all is awesome but kind of carelessly designed
Quite fun! This is a great app for creating reactions out of a word. (You know, typing into the generate box under settings) My favorite thing to type into the box is OAT, which creates unstable rods that explode when you tap them (You must have max speed of ants to make these rods. BTW it only works sometimes. Restart the app to fix the issue with the rods instantly blowing up.)
Good app, but annoying Remove the notification tray ad for your other apps. Reply to this comment when you've fixed it for a changed rating.
Quite successful, and worthwhile It reminds one of Conway's Life, and is a quite-worthy addition to these cellular automata. It's more colorful, though, and often lots of fun to watch. A good number of examples and contributions are included. User interface is simple and intuitive.
Ads On screen buttons shift after a delay revealing ads that you inadvertently click. Annoying and deceptive to all parties involved.
Thanks Glad someone created this for Android, fascinating theory that I have wanted to see in practice since reading about it. Make sure you understand what this is before leaving neg feedback!
Really interesting I've been hunting for emergent behavior or "evolution" apps and have been able to find only a very few good ones. This is one of them.
what i wanted an interesting theory that I have been trying to find in action for some time. Great job dev keep up the good work:)
Cool Can't wait to see what else this can create!
If the user likes the app ... They change their answer to "didn't like the app" and move forward.
Nice job Simon The app is great similar to ur other apps. generations and game of life.
Just like powder game It's like powder game
Good fun A well put together app that works
Nice one I like games -simulators like this one
Thank you Thx that this is free and the only permission is network connection. You are awesome.
Awesome Its great fun and really makes you try to come up with new formulas. Great for the few who actually like thinking in life.
Ha Ha! People see me watching this and they think its some kind of QR code generator. Brilliant app!
Its not crap, when you realize that you can make animations and mathematical structures
Eventually it looks like a crossword puzzle on meth! Totally amazing, 5 stars, will keep using.
I love all of your apps! Well executed.
Langton’s Ant is actually a two-dimensional cell automaton that evolves by following very simple rules. It was invented by scientist Christopher Langton in 1986 and helped to highlight an example of emergent behavior. The two basic rules are: ¤ If the ant is on a black square, it turns right, changes the color to white and moves […]
