Backgammon Deluxe for PC

Dumb ai, for novices only. Another poor bg game offering no challenge whatsoever unless youre a novice player. Why cant you guys make a decent bg game. No 1 bg game voted by yourselves. What point is there in having crawford rule and double cube if you have such stupid ai? Also it takes far too long moving the pieces - zzzzzz.

Needs improvement I like this app but it is very boring. It has nice graphics but the speed is way too slow was easy to loose interest. If there was a way to speed up the moves it would be perfect. It shows you roll statistics and in the 3 games I played, the dice rolls were very fair which is hard to find in a backgammon app.

Its a way to pass the time but I swear the computer cheats. How many times can you roll a four one in a row when those spots are blocked. For me it was 5 times. I think I'll find a different game...

Absolutely the best backgammon game I've played on line so far!!! I would just ask or say you need more background themes and colors. It's a good game for the fairly new player to play and learn something they don't already know. The best way to learn is by our mistakes. This game is perfect for that. No pressure!!!!

No way to win at Hard or Expert level Computer repeatedly gets doubles and the perfect dice roll to send opponent to the bar, especially on the Hard and Expert levels. Very frustrating.

I am going to un install it you can't reverse the board and I am used to playing other way it looks like a fun game and I love bg but going to look for one with more playing options

Cheats, not HUMANLY possible to roll doubles six times in a row!

Magic rolls Too slow. The "expert" level implies too many "magic rolls" by the computer

Needs improvement & comp rolls too convenient to be honest Can't undo move not what you played. A bit slowww....... Up the difficulty just 1 level and whatever your play, comp gets roll to take your piece at least 3/4 of time, not just strategy of computer play! Not fair at any level. You dont get dice 3/4 of time to take computer tile. Deleting.

Cheats.... A lot You can play as perfectly as possible but the computer will always get the perfect roll. It'll also force you to leave your pieces standard and subject to be taken. It ruins the fun of Backgammon... Such a shame

Backgammon deluxe what can i say. this games terrible the only way to describe it is as soon as it starts to lose it cheats. Most of the dice throws are in the same combinations often time after time and it will often have 45 good doubles in every game where is the player gets none and it will throw dice that's it assist it but hamper you. Random? No way. But it is fun sometimes to win through the cheating when it reverses and gives you the kind of rolls it normally reserves for itself!

On further play review The expert level is the most like playing a skilled player, but the hard level is still challenging for most players. Very few "Why do THAT move?" moments. Only complaints: The doubling and scoring rules used aren't standard, as it allows doubling after all pieces have passed each other, and scored a gammon as a game once, when my opponent failed to bear off after getting all pieces into their inner court.

Another bullshit game where computer gets all the rolls it needs every time. Can't you at least fake trying to make it real

Not all apps are created equal Just so we're clear... all backgammon apps cheat. This one is just not as obvious as most. It is, without a doubt, ridiculously bias in favor of the computer but at lease it is respectful enough not to slap you in the face with it each and every roll as if you were too stupid to notice. I gave it three stars which means I think it's ok. But the fact of the matter is I think its ok in comparison to the other apps. Make no mistake this app sucks just as much azz as the rest.

Not a bad game technically, but the board is not correct and it‘s slowwwwww. Skil of the pc is a lot better than other backgammon games though. The ‘pass’ button is completely useless, a time waster. Hans

Hard to believe it doesn't cheat It's amazing how the computer gets the exact roll it needs every time. Definitely programed to cheat. It sets you up to fail with the rolls that you get.

At expert level after playing many games .the computer gets doubles almost every 2nd or 3rd roll.it cheats,like all computers due while you roll very low numbers. It's still a computer and seems to get doubles more often.but I have backgammon it on 3 levels.working on the expert level now.

Very slow I played two games, so I cannot talk about dice randomness. I uninstalled it as the dice movement is so slow that could give you a heart attack

Love the game! The game is awesome. I love playing it on my phone and my computer. My only wish is that you could play with other people, not pass it back and forth.

The board lay out is incorrect colorwise-even numbered moves should be the same color..it complicates counting.

Fun! Strategic thinking challenges, opportunistic twists with each roll to pounce or block yet persevere.

Very nice! Whether you've just forgotten or need to learn how to play it teaches you easily. The app plays well.
