Alite for PC

Not SD card compatible Wanted to give this a chance but this app only moves a token 2mb of its over 400mb of data to the sd card. In this day and age that's just unacceptable.

Excellent port... ....of Amiga Elite. I had the original C64 version ( vector graphics and over 10 minutes to load from cassette ! ) which I loved and this port gives me another crack at the Amiga version. Brings back the grind to get a better weapon and the docking computer...needless to say I'd forgotten how difficult it was without one ! Can't recommended this enough.

Great tribute to Elite, until it crashed It's been great to re-live memories of playing this on a Commodore 64. Unfortunately my screen went black after a few planets and phone restarts etc didn't fix it (playing on S7). This is a great tribute to Elite, but also a game you can invest a lot of time in (overall and between saves). So for me, stability will be the key between one stars and five.

Great game but too easy to become pirate I had this on my acorn electron back in the day and loved it. However I'm sure you could attack 'safe' ships without getting a police record. Still love it but I destroy ships and scoop the loot so would like to be able to destroy clean ships safely

Perfect Thanks so much for this awesome game. Feels like Elite back in the days which is still my favourite game. Downloaded it yesterday and can't stop playing.

Sometimes installs broken I have a bad internet connection, and if the Internet decides it's going to crap out while Alite is installing, the game will get installed, but not run. In short if the download gets paused or saved for later, then the resulting apk doesn't install the files correctly.

Great game although it has a few load up issues and sometimes the game just stops working (while trying to gather information on selected planets) when its the only app running and also the hyperspace screen has a bug where a portion of the screen flickers black on the bottom left however on the plus side it is a great timekiller and i would give it a 5 star but it has a few problems that needs fixing 1st then maybe a 5* otherwise 4*. After further gameplay there seems to be an error inside the game that causes a fatal error and a msg that sais sorry for the inconvinience ...yup its a pain when it happens just as you spent 30mins killing ships to get to dock then the error screen pops up , its a shame because its a good simple game the errors spoil it reducing my rating from 4* to a 2* fix these issues for galaxy samsung then 5* awarded.

Excellent job bringing Elite, ahem, Alite to Android. Superbly done with superior graphics to the original. Plays well and controls are smooth and easy to use on my tablet. Love the fact that I don't have to give permissions to every part of my tablet and no stupid adverts. A real major plus. Please don't add any more unnecessary permissions to any future updates. If the developer is up for a challenge, let's see what a Frontier (Elite 2) port would be like. I would pay a pound for Alite because of the lack of excessive permission requests and how well it plays. Keep up the good work! I give it six stars out of five. I think its that good.

Amazing Probably one of my favourite games ever, only surpassed by Elite dangerous, skyrim and halo.

flash backs What the description says but with a modern feel and no clunky controller much the same game play but looks cooler than the version I played

Ah the memories If you like Elite or you want to know what it's all about then check this out. Not only is it an amazingly brilliant reproduction of Elite but has been the cause of me running me phone battery down on many of occasion. If you play Elite:Dangerous and want to get your fix whilst out and about you can't go wrong with this game either :)

Really want to love this game, but it's still too buggy. Especially when you leave the game (for a chat message or so) and come back, the accelerator controls are broken more often than not.

side move please I'm in the start of the game right now but it seems promising. But please.please.pease.give us the possibility to strafe the ship so to move in sidesteps.this will make the fly easier as is very difficult to adjust slightly your direction with plane model of flight(turn and pitch up to turn).so please give us that strafe move.

No move to SD card Can you please make the option to transfer to SD card? I love the game but can't fit it on new phone along the other space sims

Severe install issues Game seemed to download but did not install. Almost gave up but on the 4th attempt I was successful. Only persevered with this as i loved the 80's version. Not sure how many others might of persisted as long as i did. Error message 20 quoted as being the reason for the issue. Needs sorting ;)

Promising but a big problem... I find that if the game is interrupted for any reason, when I come back to it the accelerometer doesn't work... So I can fly and shoot but not steer... Very promising otherwise.

Just wow! This is absolutely terrific! Takes me right back to playing the original on my Acorn Electron in the 80s. Plays like a dream on my Pixel C - a somewhat more powerful computer ;-) Bravo!

Elite/Fronter Played elite and Fronter years ago and have been hoping to find a game like it for my phone. This is excellent. Hope the developers can keep working on it to make it more like Fronter with missions, different ships, equipment etc.

Labour of love I played Elite on the ZX Spectrum in the 1980s when it was a revolutionary game. I wasn't expecting much from an Android remake running on my S7 Edge but this is a remarkably complete and impressive game which works surprisingly well with touch screen controls. It feels like a real labour of love by somebody who understands the magic behind the original. Highly recommended, especially for fans of the original.

Awesome Only game I need on my phone, all smoothly on to sd (using old Xperia M2 on lollipop) with no issues. Perfect port, takes me way back when. Gameplay and learning curve are spot on, why didn't I know about this earlier???

Trip down memory lane Awesome version of Elite. I started playing this on the BBC when it first came out and now I can play it on the train!!!

needs an actual end goal like gta, then continue playing. looks neat

Alite Absolutely fantastic. Now if I could just learn how to dock.. ..Thank you for the update and the answer. Think its more me than your game though...:-)

Love the concept and the original But the controls for this game dont work well on a touch screen. The roll and pitch to change direction is clunky add in a virtual joy pad with yaw and pitch rather than roll and set auto fire to be a settings toggle.

Bluetooth controller Will the game work with Bluetooth controller? Reply.... will rate 5 stars when it does work with Bluetooth control

Great Version - Sound Issue Great version but sound sometimes drops out.

True to the original good controls... you sir are a champion!

Amazing I've loved this game since I was a kid and it came out on the BBC. This emulation is just brilliant. Thankyou. Thankyiu

What the Lost my save game when I exited game after earning 4000 credits.

The best Bought 4 different versions of elite from BBC model b, electron, pc and amiga versions and this is first class reproduction with even better graphics

Brilliant Playing a retro game of Elite on my mobile bringing back grest memories. Great graphics and game play.

Alite Loved it you made an ace game would be superb with keyboard controls to move the ship any chance of that happening

Brilliant Passes an hour easily like the old game only better.

Amazing version of one of the greatest games ever. A game made by a fan for the fans, not some cash cow like every other game on Google play. Will be making a donation to say thanks for the time and passion put in to this.

Very good emulator of classic I loved this game as a child in the 80sand I love it again now
